When I was at parents evening recently, I noticed that year 10 had a positivity board. I love this idea as the board was full of positive quotes that the students had found. It was displayed in full view for everyone to see as they walk past. I believe that positive quotes are important as they remind us of possibility and help to bring about new and positive change. I wanted to share this particular quote from the board with you today, as many of us view mistakes as a negative. Mistakes are actually a positive as they move us one step closer to experiencing our desired outcome. They are an important part of the success process. Whatever situation you are in that may be frustrating, keep going as you're just about to break through!
Imagine being able to change your life by only spending five minutes a day of focused and conscious intention. Imagine that by starting the day in this way, new doors start to open, we start to feel new feelings which means respond to life's circumstances differently. When we respond differently, new events unfold and that is when we have the ability to positively control our destiny.
This beautiful little book was gifted to me and something that I am so grateful for as it is now an important part of my morning well-being routine. Five minutes to change our life – yes please! I recommend this beautiful little book anyone who wants to live consciously and become the creator of their reality.

'Knowing' is the catalyst to great and profound change but only once the wisdom is applied and action taken will we see the great effects 'knowing' can have on our life.
Being willing is the key, that can and will, open the door to our freedom, but is only 'life changing' when we actually walk through it. Walking through is 'taking action', it is 'doing' and it is walking the steps your heart and mind know.
By taking action, then and only then, will the rewards of our knowing and our thinking come evident. Proactivity in reaching a place of freedom - is key to any successful outcome.
Remembering and working with this powerful spiritual law brings about true freedom. It steps us out of 'the blame game, the victim mode' and places us in a position of true personal empowerment which promotes personal growth, living our truth and helps to create the life we CHOOSE to live. There is no more powerful way other than taking responsibility for our inward projections we cast out into the world.
Our October Yoga and Mindfulness day retreat was a real treat for us all. The group was truly beautiful and the day eye-opening, peaceful and restoritive.
In the photos you can see the group chilling out after their yoga session and then relaxing in front of the open fire for their gong sound therapy bath.
In the morning we enjoyed a mind opening inspirational talk with some meditation and mindfulness practices. All in all, a beautiful day.
A thought is just a thought and a thought can be changed - Louise Hay.
Isn't it reassuring to know that we have the ability at any given moment to change our thoughts? When we change our thoughts, our feelings change and when our feelings change we see, react and respond to the world differently. As Esther and Jerry Hicks say in their book Ask and it is Given 'reach for the next best thought', eventually if we keep reaching for the next best thought, we climb the emotional ladder and begin a powerfully process of 'feeling better'.
Criticism breaks down the inner spirit. Praise builds it up. Praise yourself as much as you can. Tell yourself how well you are doing with every little thing.
