Mindfulness is simply being aware of "what is" right now without trying to change it. Enjoying the present moment without trying to 'hold on' when it changes. It is observing your thoughts and feelings, without judging them. Without trying to change them. Mindfulness brings us into the beauty of this present moment. Anxiety is living in the future and depression is living in the past – mindfulness brings us into the magic and the beauty off this present moment. This is where we can activate the wellsprings of peace that already exist inside of us.
Criticism breaks down the inner spirit. Praise builds it up. Praise yourself as much as you can. Tell yourself how well you are doing with every little thing.
