Isn’t it reassuring to know that we have the ability at any given moment to change our thoughts? When we change our thoughts, our feelings change and when our feelings change we see, react and respond to the world differently. As Esther and Jerry Hicks say in their book Ask and it is Given ‘reach for the next best thought’, eventually if we keep reaching for the next best thought, we climb the emotional ladder and begin a powerfully process of ‘feeling better’.
