Our mind can cause us a huge amount of chaos when it is and untamed and allowed to run riot. The thoughts we think literally release chemicals into our bloodstream and if the thoughts we are thinking are negative, we release stress hormones. Our body then responds to the thoughts that we are thinking and we don’t feel so good. The same is true for positive thoughts, we release positive hormones into our body and in turn we start to feel good. Training ourselves too quieten our mind and think thoughts that are uplifting helps us to feel calm, relaxed and positive. This is something we can learn to train ourselves to become. It is not something that can be achieved overnight but through persistence and consistency, it can be achieved and we can start to notice the positive effects in a relatively short space of time.
