Wow! Thank you so much. When I received the email in my inbox from Soul and Spirit magazine saying I’d won an award, I have to be honest I was a little shocked. I knew a few people were behind me in the voting process and I was so deeply grateful to have been nominated in two categories but to have actually won an award was so amazing.
So today I am dedicating this newsletter to say a BIG thank you to everybody who voted for me and I can’t begin to explain how it feels to be up there with some of the top names in the industry.
Yes, I have been sandwiched between Deepak Chopra and Eckhart Tolle in the Meditation and Mindfulness category! Good lord. I nearly fainted. So it is now official that I came runner up in the Soul and Spirit awards and I would never have been able to have achieved this without your support. So thank you so much!
Having my back in this process taught me a lot. It really helped me to understand that in order for ourselves to succeed it is important for us to help others succeed too. In fact, this has been one of the most powerful teachings I have began to understand on a deeper level the last two years.
Simply put, if you want to rise (aka succeed), help other people rise too. Many of us on a subconscious level feel that if one person does well then there will not be enough for us to do well too. You will be pleased to know that this couldn’t be further from the truth. My friends there is enough for us all and when we move from competition to collaboration you will see the magic happen!
Of course it is important not to do it just because you want success for yourself but to actually want other people to succeed is the key ingredient in this process. By helping other people become successful, our success is a natural byproduct.
